Behind the story
A little about Rowan.
Rowan is 22, has ADHD and is finishing a part-time media course alongside her first regular cinema job. She loves terrible creature features, second-hand clothes and sending exactly the right song.
Diagnosed at 20, she is learning that enthusiasm and available time are different things. Visible reminders, doing paperwork alongside a friend and fewer simultaneous commitments help her follow through.
Her dream is a regular neighbourhood film night. She is working out how to make it happen while managing college, money and friendships. She is often lively, sometimes quiet, and more private than people expect.
Can defend almost any monster movie. Makes an excellent breakfast.
